NABARD

AMYAA has been working for the sustainable and empowerment of both women and farmers. The concept of SHG and Farmer Club was first introduced in the Eastern Districts of Arunachal Pradesh by AMYAA way back in 2008 through the support of NABARD. Today, AMYAA has promoted more than 190 SHGs in 3 Districts and 4 Farmer Producer Organizations has been sanctioned by NABARD in 2 Districts. SHGs have become irreplaceable contributors to community’s economic growth. Success stories of SHGs taking up baking processing units, tailoring units, detergent & soap making units, handloom units, petty shops units, mushroom cultivation units are few examples which has brought sustainable sources of income to the families and their communities.
