Livelihood Promotion
Self Help Group (SHG)
Women play an inevitable role in the developmental process of the community. The participation of women is best defined and integrated through the concept of Self Help Group. AMYAA has promoted saving bank and linked a total of 155 SHGs in 3 districts of Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valeey and Changlang.
Farmer’s Club (FC)
Grassroots level informal forum established to organise farm sector activities for the benefit of its members. Play a lead role towards application of modern technologies by availing credit in farming for high yeild production and work towards systematized market linkage. A total of 35 Farmer’s Club are being formed by AMYAA through the support of NABARD in 2 Districts of Lower Dibang Valleg and Changlang.
Natural Resource Management Groups (NaRMGs)
A concept of North Eastern Community Resource Management Project (NERCORMP) NaRMG is an inclusive and democratic planning and implementating body consisting of one male and female from each HHs to look after the overall socio-economic development of the village with timely backward and forward linkages.
Education & Skills to Succeed (S2S) Programmes
Targeting mainly the School Drop-outs, students are facilitated to dream, discover and connect through self learning and exploration. Follow a blended learning approach through audio-visual, facilitator led sessions and student workbooks.
Human Rights Protection
To protect the basic rights of the most vulnerable groups of the society namely, children and women. Sensitization and awareness on Domestic Violence Act, 2005, Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act (POSCO), 2012 and The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2016 and The Juvenile Justice ( Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015.
Environment
AMYAA works in close association with Forest Department at the District level for carrying out extensive awareness campaign for preservation and protection of environment. The organization takes active part in Swach Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission) and has promoted 6 Green Clubs in 6 Government Schools for the mission.
S2S offers Quest Alliance & Accenture Certified Courses
Foundational courses in Basic English, Work Readiness, Career Development, Customer interaction and Life Skills Management along with dominant Entreprenuership (3 months)
